SpyX – The Definition of Precision Strike

In 2002, the Israeli Air Force (IAF) held a workshop titled “Air Force 2030” led by the then-Commander of the IAF.
At the workshop’s conclusion, cornerstones were defined for a future in which the Air Force would operate double-digit numbers of UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) and loitering munition strike squadrons.
BlueBird, founded that same year (2002), set a goal to be part of this future. Indeed, over the past two years, BlueBird has served as a central axis in the evolution of the IAF and the IDF in the fields of UAVs and loitering munitions. BlueBird was the Israeli pioneer in introducing VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) UAVs into operational use for intelligence gathering, detection, and targeting in both near and distant sectors.
The company’s UAVs have proven themselves in some of the world’s most complex battlefield conditions, operating under intense electronic warfare environments, including communication and GPS jamming. Following a challenging period of accelerated development, the company successfully met all customer requirements.

The operational needs in Israel have guided the company toward cutting-edge technological developments that provide solutions for global requirements (Europe, Asia, Africa). The company’s products are integrated into numerous military forces worldwide, serving as a force multiplier under one roof. In the field of VTOL UAVs, where BlueBird is a global leader with unique technology, these systems enable (very) long endurance with a variety of payloads for target detection and transmitting data to loitering munitions, facilitating rapid sensor-to-shooter cycles against military targets. The combination of loitering munitions and long-endurance UAV systems allows for target detection in hostile environments and standoff strikes without risking friendly forces. The company’s vision fully aligns with operational needs in Israel and abroad, realized through a combination of creativity, engineering, and technology.

BlueBird is a leading company with precise and agile capabilities, enabling a rapid response to operational needs alongside a long-term vision and sustainable implementation. This includes the establishment of manufacturing and support facilities across Asia, Europe, and Africa. The company targets the current battlefield while simultaneously developing and adapting for the battlefield of the future.
